“Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music!”

Psalm 98:4

CW music has been led by Pat Radosavljevic for over 35 years. Together with her husband, pianist George Radosavljevic, they present a wide variety of music for worship including classical, contemporary, gospel, and jazz.

Carter-Westminster is known for hospitality, which extends to our Chancel Choir, who have welcomed CW members, friends, and visitors to join with us in singing. Most communion Sundays are graced with the addition of a professional soloist, many of whom are members of the Grant Park or Lyric Opera Orchestras, as well as singers from Lyric and the Chicago Symphony Chorus.

For over twenty years our CW choir has presented an annual outreach Christmas concert, inviting the community — free of charge. Our chancel choir is joined by professional singers, many from Lyric, and accompanied by a chamber orchestra. This festive “Messiah” concert features soloists from the Ryan Opera Center, many of whom have gone on to international careers and have sung at the Met in NYC.

Our congregation enjoys hearing solos from professionals, amateurs, and especially our children who grace our services regularly.
