SUNDAY SCHOOL
Children and youth are invited to join their families for Sunday worship and to share in a special time of teaching during service. Following a lesson from Ms. Melinda, our Sunday School teacher, or Pastor Stuart, your kids are invited to gather downstairs for Sunday School. With hands-on lessons about faith, the Bible, and following Jesus’s example, Carter-Westminster seeks to nuture seeds of mature faith and belief in children and their families. Following Sunday School, your kids can be picked up outside of Sawyier Hall before you join us for coffee hour.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Each summer, we host a Vacation Bible School for children and youth to learn about the Bible in-depth alongside some new friends. Our themes and curriculum — like our 2024 Bible Olympics and 2025 All God’s Critters — are created with your kid’s sense of faith and fun in mind!
COMMUNITY EVENTS
Carter-Westminister hosts seasonal events for families in the surrounding community to make new friends, eat some home-cooked food, and have fun in a safe and loving environment! Our Vacation Bible School, hosted in August 2025. Featuring critters from JG’s Reptile Road Show and hands-on Bible fun!
BREAKFAST WITH THE BUNNY
An Eastertime celebration, hosted in April 2025. A breakfast of tasty waffles, springtime crafts, and the traditional Easter Egg Hunt on the church lawn.
BREAKFAST WITH THE ELF
Our 2024 family Christmas celebration, featuring the Elf (yes, THE Elf) all the way from the North Pole, yuletide fun, and lots of pancakes!
