Shop local. Share joy. Find treasures.
Saturday, October 11th, 2025 | 9am - 3pm
Mark your calendars! On Saturday, October 11, 2025, our parking lot will be transformed into a community-wide garage sale we call Treasures in the Trunk. Everyone is invited to load up your trunk with items you’d like to sell, pull into a space, and share your treasures.
Rain or shine, admission is free for shoppers. Vendor registration will open soon and is available with a nonrefundable donation of $20. However you show up, you might find just the treasure you’ve been looking for!
This is a wonderful way to connect with friends and neighbors. Proceeds from sales will go to give hope to folks who are hungry. All are welcome to come browse, buy, or sell!

Carter-Westminster United Presbyterian Church
Our church is located at 4950 W Pratt Ave, Skokie, IL 60077 on the corner of Pratt and Lavergne. We have a parking lot on the north side of the building and a car port at the point of entry for easy drop-offs and pick-ups. Our event is held in the parking lot, and bathrooms are located within the building either up or down a flight of stairs, one equipped with an electric chair lift.
We are a prayerful and loving community of welcome and worship for all who to live in the way of Jesus – gathering Sunday mornings at 10:45 AM. You are most welcome!
Our worship services are held in-person in our beautiful sanctuary and online on our YouTube. We worship with resplendent classical music and still feel like a family — where you can come just as you are. We have Sunday School for the kids and coffee hour following service for all. Whoever you are, wherever you come from, you are welcome here!
