9:30 AM - Contemporary Worship

Lead by our worship band, this is a time for both upbeat and reverent worship of our Lord. Along with reading of Scripture, dramas, prayer and music, we hear God’s Word taught by Pastor Michael Porter. In a culture where we are bombarded by negative influences, our time of worship here is aiming to meet all generations with a style that is relaxed while still holding to the solid truths of Jesus who is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe!  Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! Let everything that has breath praise the LORD!

(Psalm 50:3-6)

10:45 AM - Traditional Worship

This is our more formal service of hymns, scripture, prayers and sermons delivered by Pastor Michael Porter. The Chancel Choir provides anthems and special music each week while the Handbell and Children’s choir share once a month. Guest musicians and soloists are featured on special occasions and throughout the summer months.

“Oh Come, let us sing to the LORD; let is make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.” (Psalm 95:1)

Nursery Care

Nursery care for infants and toddlers is available during both services and during Sunday School. It is located on the lower level and is equipped with cribs, changing tables, books, and toys. The same attendant is on duty every Sunday, and there is no fee to families using the Nursery.

Coffee Hour

Following the 10:45 AM service, the congregation is invited to the Coffee Hour in Sawyer Hall. The Deacons are in charge of the Coffee hour and should be contacted if a member would like to have a special Coffee Hour “in honor” or “in memory” of a loved one, or for a special occasion.

Chancel Flowers

Flowers may be ordered through the Church Secretary (847-673-4441) and placed “in honor” or “in memory” of a loved one, or to celebrate a special occasion. The cost is $20.00 per bouquet. Special flowers are available for Easter (lilies) and Christmas (poinsettias).
